Adam Timney, El Jefe (Executive Chef)
As Timney was in the process of developing
the Starbelly menu with the restaurant team, he was asked to cook and present the
foods he loves to eat. What you’ll find at Starbelly is exactly that: unfussy yet
thoughtful California comfort food that appeals to a broad range of tastebuds, served
in a comfortable, relaxed environment. Timney honed his culinary talent and kitchen
management skills at San Francisco’s high-profile Bacar, and prior to that, at Eos
restaurant and wine salon. He also spent time at the beloved salumeria Boccolone,
where he developed the knowledge he puts to work in creating house-cured meats for
his Starbelly salumi plate.

Anthony Glenn, Head Honcho (General Manager)
Organization, efficiency, and
excellence at Starbelly. With a proven track record and a decade of management experience
at San Francisco destination restaurants including Bacar, Scott Howard, Frisson,
Kuleto’s, and Rose Pistola, Glenn is a seasoned pro with high standards who knows
how to build and train a harmonious team, which results in professional, gracious
service, and a restaurant that “works” in all aspects. Educated in political science,
history, and restaurant service, operations, and finance, Glenn has studied at the
University of Arizona, San Francisco State, CIA-Greystone, and Cornell University.

Roman Padilla, "Il Maestro", (Restaurant Manager)
Artistic passion. The philosophy of eating locally, supporting small growers, and
drinking local wines rings true with this California native from Monterey. When Roman moved to the Bay Area to pursue a degree in Art at the
California College of the Arts, he found himself falling in love with the
burgeoning California Cuisine culture. Working in some of the bay areas top
restaurants such as Azie, Farallon, Grasshopper, Venus, Bacar and Chow, Roman
developed not only a passion for the industry but a drive towards genuine
hospitality. To him, the heart of service is an understanding
of the finer details presented with care and enthusiasm.
