What’s on our menu and what are our top sellers?
Starbelly is the gold standard for California Comfort Food in the Castro. The menu is a mix of high-end bar snacks, wood-fired pizzas, and sophisticated seasonal plates that feel both healthy and indulgent.
The "Iconic" Top Sellers:
Starbelly Bacon Pizza ($21): Our legend. Features house-made bacon, jalapeños, arugula, and green goddess dressing.
House-Cut Fries & Three Dips ($9): Perfectly crispy fries served with Old Bay aioli, basil aioli, and organic catsup.
Signature Chicken Liver Pâté ($16): Served with buttered bread and sweet onion marmalade.
The Burger ($19): Ground chuck with Starbelly sauce and house pickles—consistently ranked one of SF's best.
Chilaquiles ($17 - Brunch Only): A weekend favorite with chili de arbol sauce and avocado.
Plates: Roasted Mary’s Half Chicken with mashed potatoes and the Potato Gnocchi with clams and bacon are heavy hitters.
Do we have vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or allergy-friendly options?
Vegetarian Options: Roughly half the menu is meat-free. The Veggie Burger (dried pea and quinoa patty) and Roasted Beet Hummus are neighborhood favorites.
Vegan Options: We offer a high-quality cashew mozzarella that actually melts! You can order our Vegan Margherita or sub this cheese onto any other veggie pizza.
Gluten-Free (GF) Options: We offer a GF pizza crust substitution for $4. Many main plates, like the Roasted Mary’s Half Chicken and Salmon, are naturally gluten-free. Burgers can also be ordered "protein style" (lettuce wrapped).
Allergy Awareness: Our aiolis for the fries are egg-based (mayo); stick to catsup for egg allergies. The hummus contains pistachios. Always flag severe allergies to your server!

The "Quick Lunch": $25 – $35 (A sandwich or pizza + a beverage).
Standard Dinner: $50 – $65 (Shared fries, a pizza or burger, and a cocktail/wine).
